AZAR (on CINE-FILE Chicago)
This week at CINE-FILE Chicago, under the "Also Recommended" section, I wrote about Mohammad Hamzei's melodrama AZAR, a sometimes fascinating insider's critique of gender roles in today's Iran. It's by all means worth a visit to the Gene Siskel Film Center, where it plays this weekend, to see it.
